BND Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer to lead feature delivery and architectrual enhancements in our higher education integration product, Axiom Elite.
This individual will be hands-on with coding, contributing directly to frontend architecture decisions, UI engineering best practices, and cross-functional delivery.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React and TypeScript, and a strong eye for UI/UX quality.
Works closely with full-stack engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver polished, accessible, and performant frontend experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build performant, maintainable, secure, and accessible UIs using React + TypeScript, ensuring responsiveness and usability.
- Lead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to the evolution of development standards, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve user experience, development efficiency, and overall product quality.
- Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor other developers to elevate overall team capability.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of frontend software engineering experience, with a strong focus on React-based applications.
- Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Deep experience with component-driven development, state management, design systems, and Tailwind CSS or equivalent styling frameworks.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- A passion for creating pixel-perfect UI and polished user experiences
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Additional Preferred Experience:
- Experience with frontend build management (Webpack, NPM)
- Experience of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops).
- Experience using design software (Figma).
